Week Picks

The Nudge says what the Hell, it's Christmas Time, Let's pick all the games, it shouldn't be too hard!

If you were able to lay some cheddar on the Scarlett Slights of New Joysey tonight, Congrats, you covered in like the first ten minutes of the game. Did Ron English even prepare his defense? Actually, the Scarlett Slights have been covering since they came out of their coma and started using New Jersey High School player of the year Joe Martinek out of Hopotcong H.S. When they recruited the kid, I thought for sure that Schiano would try to throw him on D. Now, the Slights have a proven RB for the next couple of years. They just need to replace Teel.

The Mikey-Love Nudgette

Pitt getting 3 against the UCONN Huskies in Conn. This game is tough to figure out and weather won't play a factor. Both these teams have outstanding RB in Donald Brown and the best RB in the country LeSean McCoy. I actually had McCoy as having an outside shot at winning the stiff arm at the beginning of the season. 1300 yards rushing and 20 TD's and none of the talking heads outside of Mark May are even mentioning his name. Pitt's loses outside of that abomination to Bowling Green have come at the hands of an on fire BearClaws and an on fire Slights teams. The Huskies lost to the Thugs of Carolina, Pat White's Left arm and the Slights. They also lost to South Florida. If your going to make a play, grab the under at 46 and a nudge. I don't see either teams scoring a Hell of a lot. 1 Dutchess

"What time is it? It's time to get nice with the game no one cares about anymore"

I know, CBS hypes this game every year, and no one is more patriotic than me. I wouldn't even listen to the Spice Girls because they wore British flag undies, and I really wanted to. But the Army-Navy game used to be relevant while our boys were landing in Normandy. Navy is 7-4 with impressive wins over powerhouse programs like Towson, Temple and June Jones' retirement plan. They did beat the Slights and Wake "We graduate every kid and won't stop talking about it" Forest. Army has got three garbage wins, but in their game against Rice, they looked competitive. Navy wins, but do they cover giving 10 and a nudge........
Yea, they will. It's always an emotionally charged atmosphere at the game, and Navy's new coach (don't even think I'm going to try to spell his name) is playing with Paul Johnson's recruits. Kettani and White make a pretty good backfield for them. Let's give this game 2 Dutchess's.

Number 1 Nudge Angel

It's been amazing to me that with all the speculation going around about who will fill what coaching vacancies, two names that no one is throwing around are Gus Malzahn and Todd Graham. I know they got blown out by Sumlin, but besides that, they've literally blown the doors off of everything in their path. I love watching this team play. Alright, Malzahn has only been in the College ranks for two years, but he's been pretty successful so far. McFadden and Jones, the guy has re-invented the Single Wing offense so well that even the pro's are trying it out. Look, Graham recruited at Rice, and let me tell you, if you can be successful at the smallest school in Division 1 (No FBS crap here), you can win anywhere. This is Graham's chance to explode and they cover the 13 points with ease. What the Hell happened to Skip Holtz and East Carolina, they fell off of everyones radar. At the beginning of the season, I was sure he would be house hunting elsewhere. The losses that they did have were against some pretty good teams, The fighting Sumlins, Va when they were playing ball, a resurgent Wolfpack and Damion Fletcher.Tulsa covers. 3 Dutchess's

The Nudgette most likely to be brought home to Mommy, Nat-P

We got a pick'em in the ACC Chumpionship this year. I don't know if that's good or bad for the conference. What I do know is that the other Catholic school in the country can play. No one loves Beamer more than me, and I agree with him that this is the best year of coaching that his staff has ever had. They are coming off an emotional game against their rival Va. Whereas BC has been on a roll as of late. What the hay, roll with the other gold domes of Bawston. 1 Dutchess

"What do you mean we have to play USC, don't they know I'm a hundred and ten years old"

Like I have said over and over again, I love Pat White. I think the guy is a special player, heart, soul and shiftiness. This is his final regular season game and their going against the Bulls of Tampa, giving 7. Selvie has already got a top ten pick locked up in the draft, the kids a beast. I'm sure his future agent is on the phone with him right now telling him "Don't get hurt, I need a new Range Rover." I look for an emotional team to come out of the locker room, and the crowd knows that this is the last time to see their greatest QB ever play in front of them. Emotional Game, Pat White's Left Arm lay's the pipe. 3 Dutchess's

The Dutchess of Nudgeshire thinks the Nudges picks will light up like a Christmas tree on Saturday

The Zona Mildcats are at home playing against the Stun Devils, as in how can a team with this much talent be so bad. Stunning. The MildCats played USC tough down to the last second, I know, I was the only one east of the Mighty Mississippi staying up until three in the morning watching it. The MildCats are a better team than there 6-5 record indicates. The Stun Devils not so much. The schedule maker gets the MVP award for the team this year scheduling the Lushkies and the Stougers along with a less than potent Baby Blue Neuheisel's late in the season. f that wasn't the case, this team would be in bad shape. Take the MildCats laying 10 and a nudge. It's a late game, should be close until the third quarter

O.C. Nudgette of the week

What do you want me to say about my man B-Kel and the BearClaws. I've been following him since he put the Chippewas on the map with Dan LeFwhatever. B-Kel flat out tells Rocky Top to go jump off and say's outright that he's staying in Cincy. And why not? You could recruit at Cincy almost better than anywhere else in the country, I'm not kidding. It's just that no one has yet. This is this guys first BCS bowl and if I had to bet on it, I think his team is going to be the number 1 ranked team in the Big Least next year, and for a lot of years to come. What troubles me about this game in particular is that the spread is sooo god damn low. 7 really, 7. The lines makers know that B-Kel is gonna sit all, and I mean all of his guys on Saturday. Plus, the team left Cincy early and is definitely have some fun in the sun. I would say definitely stay away from this play. But it's Christmas time, and you have to pick all the teams. Maybe I'm already drunk on egg nog, but I think B-Kel still pulls it off with the third String. By the way, they've been through 4 QB's already this year. I wonder who the 5th stringer is. Take B-Kel, the guys a genius. 1 Dutchess

The Dutchess of Nudgeshire is crossing her fingers that Oklahoma doesn't lose. She would hate to see Colt get a shot at the crystal.

That's it. I'm outta here. I have to go prepare for my Urban Meyer ten gun cannon salute in my suburban neighborhood. See ya sports fans
